I have loved WWF for years, and ordered plants from them. When local nurseries carried wide selections, I patronized them, but now with lower inventories I am again purchasing through catalogs.

"Recording events of the season, connecting with community, with a passion for plants" is the original tagline. It still aims to be part of the garden blog community, but instead of centered on only my own garden this blog has changed for the better with the addition of Joanne's experiences in her Southern farm, and her reservoir of garden wisdom. We hope you like the result.
As Michael Pollan says:"Any writer who has a garden will sooner or later write about it." -that's about as good an explanation for it as any.

this looks like a nifty tool to have.
i have one of these somewhere, will
send it to you if i ever find it...
have you ever used a japanese digger?
i think its called a hori knife.
its a good strong trowel with a sharpish digging point and a serrated edge on the side for
cutting roots.
it is my favorite garden tool
and i use it for everything!
I just love weeping Willow trees. Only wish I had the room for one here.
