Containers That Caught My Eye

Reactions:
The first two pictures were taken @ Innis Garden last year, the third was from Easton Shopping Center.

I very much like the choice of one magnificent plant with a graceful container and interesting support. This part of Innis garden is called a "secret garden", made to look like and old ruin and tucked away in a slightly hidden destination. It is a very successful garden plan.

This is an example of a shaded container that was placed by a small bridge; I loved the use of the hosta and asparagus fern with the bright pop of the yellow flowers which look like a type of begonia ( but I don't remember now and can't well tell from the picture).

There were a number of these containers surrounding a large public fountain and pond, where children were floating little sailboats- a most charming scene!

I put together a page on Garden Containers, hope you find it helpful.
